Hi,

I had a question regarding the starting positions for the VEX U skill challenges.

The rules state the following:

*Skills Challenge Rule Modifications:

  1. Teams will compete with both of their robots at the same time, with each robot starting in a legal starting
    position, and all rules applying to both robots. *

My question is could a VEX U team start on opposite sides of the field, for example could the 15^3 robot start on the red alliance’s starting tile while the 24^3 robot starts on the blue alliance’s starting tile?

No, they must both start on the Alliance Starting Tiles of the same colour.
