Regarding VUR7 (quoted below), may we use a VEX Cortex Microcontroller as a secondary processor, solely for the purpose of processing sensor inputs? It would not be connected to any motors or solenoids in any way, only sensors. There would be no VEXNet Key in the second Cortex (we wouldn’t communicate wirelessly). It would communicate with the main/normal Cortex via the UART ports. I can see a potential clash with VUR3 (also quoted below), however I’m not sure this would be relevant for the purposes of the second Cortex only being used for sensor processing.
