I have a question about the connection or lack there of between a cortex controller and micro-controller. I had my robot driving around the room just fine and set down/turn off the handheld controller leaving the micro-controller on (for less than a minute). Now when I try to turn it back on, the micro-controller lights labeled game, and vexnet flash yellow quickly and the robot one not as quick but green. Also the key is flashing blue. On the handheld controller the light labeled joystick comes on green with the vexnet one flashing yellow (the other 2 aren’t on). Then by the time it would normally connect the lights change and only the vexnet is on and flashing red twice in a row. The key on this one is steady blue. What is wrong or what is it doing?
First try “Pairing or Tethering” the Cortex to the Joystick with a USB A-A Cable. If that works, try using the VEXnet Keys again. If you still have an issue, try swapping the VEXnet Keys between the Cortex and the Joystick. If the Double Red Blinks follows the VEXnet Key, you have a bad Key. If the double Red Blinks stays with the Joystick, then try using the VEXnet Upgrade Tool on the Joystick and the Cortex.
