Is it possible to buy only the VEXnet TX upgrade module? This way we would be able to use the old transmitter with the Cortex microcontroller. Or can we buy the entire upgrade kit and trade in the Microcontroller upgrade module for a credit to another product?

And what is the range of the VEXnet system?

The VEXnet Upgrade Modules have been discontinued. The Cortex Microcontroller is not design to be compatible with the old Transmitter.
