Hey,

Will the VEXnet upgrade be used in all national and international competitions starting 2010? Also, will it be Compulsory to be used in the small regional comptitions as I have a sneaking feeling that will not happen for at least a few months because of the cost.

The competition will dictate the rules for VexNet use. If the competition specifies VexNet then you must use it. If they specify crystals then you have to use that. This is to allow a gradual transition to VexNet.
