Hello Karthik, today i was at a tournament where the ref ruled if it was touching the robot, and the robot was touching the far zone, it was scored in the far zone. Now i understand
But, if the robot was “supporting” a cube by the very edge of the cube but when the robot was removed, the cube did not move zones, would the ruling of far zone still apply? Thank you in advance.
If the Scoring Object was touching a Zone, it should be Scored in the Zone it was touching. If it was not touching a Zone and was supported by a Robot, it should be scored in the Zone the Robot was touching. If it was not touching a Zone and not supported by a Robot, then it should not be scored in a Zone. (e.g. resting on the Fence)
In the case you’ve described, it does not sound like it was supported by a Robot, but I cannot tell if the Scoring Object was touching a Zone.
