According to this post, I’m not allowed to use string which is longer than 4 ft. long.

I’m currently trying to build a cascading lift with the winch and pulley kit, but I need more than 4 ft. of string, which isn’t legal. Am I allowed to take two strings and fuse them together for my lift purposes?

This would not be allowed as per <R15b> from the VEX Round Up Game Manual, quoted below.

<R15b> Welding, soldering, brazing, gluing, or attaching in any way that is not provided within the VEX Robotics Design System will NOT be allowed.
