Is there a difference in friction for field with anit-static spray and those with none? My kids give me mixed reviews when we travel to nationals and worlds, but we do not see anti-static used much this far down south.
Theoretically, no.
Any materials used on the field shouldn’t affect gameplay (except for making the field safer for electronics in the case of anti static spray).
The anti static spray that was used at worlds last year added a significant amount of friction to the fields and definitely effected my robot and probably others as well.
