Any news on EasyC 2 update?

I was just wondering if there was any news about an update of EasyC 2 to support the new and upcoming VEX accessories?

Back in July, I asked this question and was told an update would probably be available at the end of the summer when the new game was announced.

I have version 2.9.0.9, the lastest update, but it still doesn’t support the VEX Quadrature Encoders that came out earlier this year. I would really like to be able to use them and didn’t know if they would be supported anytime soon or if I should just upgrade to EasyC Pro.

I know that other new VEX accessories will be coming out and I didn’t know if you were waiting until they came out to release an update or not.

Any information that you could post would be really be appreciated. I’m sure that I’m probably not the only one who would like to know.

All the sensor support will be added at once. When everything is final we will update easyC with some of the new toys.

Thanks for the information - I can hardly wait.

With all of the new VEX products coming out, it makes perfect sense to wait and just do one update. I’m just anixous to use my Quadrature Encoders and of course all of the new products coming out. I’ll just have to wait for them and the update too.

Do you think there will be a post to let us know that the update is available?
