Any projects or curriculum that use the OTHER parts in the V5 Super Kit?

Hi all -

I am in search of curriculum or projects that use the parts in the Super Kit that are not used in the clawbot or speedbot curriculum. For instance the chain, the rack gears, the turntable, the conveyor belt, the winch kit, the cam and followers, the potentiometers, etc. We do a lot with the clawbot and speedbot based on the material available on the VEX website but there doesn’t seem to be much of anything that is not based on those platforms or includes the mentioned parts.
Does anyone have a source for other activities or curriculum?

Thanks!

… Still searching… Anyone have a reference or anything on the VEX site that uses these other parts?

I know that Disco (hero bot for Spin Up) uses the conveyor belt
For the other parts, maybe your students (that I assume you teach) could design robots that incorporate them.

A class I took in my Sophomore year of high school had a “Soccerbots” project, where were told to build a chassis (of the teacher’s choice) and then modify it to have the robot later “play soccer” against other robots. This made for a fun project and allowed for students to play around with some parts, leading to the use of many different parts, not just the ones from the chassis. Depending on how advanced your class is, you could even have the robots be autonomous, which could help with the integration of potentiometers. Another way to have the students use certain parts is by requiring them to use certain parts in their robots, with a restriction against simply slapping the part on the robot without utilizing the part’s functionality.

I know this isn’t a full curriculum like what you requested, but it is definitely a potential building block for one.
