Any specific Mini-USB required for downloading code?

Currently only 1/3 of my IQ download cords are actually connecting the brain to the laptop. The issue persists over multiple brains and multiple computers. No error message because VEXOS and IQ Blocks don’t even recognize the brains over those two cords. If I buy some random Micro-USB cords, will they be compatible with VEX brains or do I need to order replacements from VEX?

Edit: I totally meant Micro-USB and not Mini-USB

yes, as long as they have a data line.

The Mini-USB cables for downloading only need to be able to transfer data (you can check this by transferring a file from a PC to a Smartphone.)
