Anyone have a CAD File for the VRC Sizing tool?

Title says it all. Looking for a CAD file for this: On Field Robot Sizing Tool - VEX Robotics

(or the one that has circular holes too, not picky)
The files aren’t on the page, and I’m not sure where else to look.

Why. Legit just for sizing purposes just make a sketch 18 inches long in x,y,z axis.

This is just kind of for a render, just to be fancy.

Sizing has nothing to do if V5 or not…

Better to ask - how can you make a sizing tool work for remote sizing/inspection.

If you need something quick and you have some VEX IQ you can make it without too much trouble.

What are you saying?

Not sure what you’re implying here. The CAD file for the sizing tool is rather unrelated to VEX IQ parts as far as I can tell.

For some reason I thought they needed one. But the CAD would not be the best way to go about that… And the newer tool is still available. Never mind!

??

You good bruh? Seems like you might have posted this on the wrong thread. He was asking for the CAD file to make a fancy render.

if you want to use it for sizing purposes and not visual purposes, you’re better off making a wireframe 18x18x18 cube instead.

Ah yes, reading, my favorite thing to do.

 there is no such thing as a V5 Sizing tool

right thread for my response - better topic titling needed…

For clarity - the title says “Anyone have CAD File for the V5 Sizing tool?”

V5 does not have specific sizing tool - the sizing tool is for VRC and “compatible” with V5 and Cortex …

I would recommend team makes their own sizing tool CAD, the opening needs to be 18"x18" to be compatible with all past sizing tools …

Nope. Totally exists.

Read carefully - says “compatible with”. not specific to V5…

I am extremely confused as to how this makes any difference lol

It is an 18" Sizer. It is used for V5. I am looking for a CAD file for it. It’s that simple.

Might have to make your own CAD file for it, looks like it uses same shape and size holes as the c channels but wider than a 3by. If you have a physical one it’s not too hard to use it as a reference for measurements.

I think the confusion is that V5 implies there is something special about your robot if it uses V5 vs Cortex.

I do not know where there is a CAD of it - you can measure you existing sizer tool and make a CAD really easily …
