Anyone have experience with 400 RPM on 3.25"?

Hi, I’m looking to rebuild my team’s robot with a 400 RPM drive on 3.25" wheels. I have had experience with the speed in Spin Up, but am unsure about the barrier crossing because of the space in between the wheels. Has anyone built and driven with 400 RPM in Over Under, and if so, how was the barrier crossing?

Thanks in advance!

Just elevate the gears then you can run 8 wheels within a smaller chassis :person_shrugging:

Depending on the weight and CG of your robot it will depend. One of my favorite teams (that’s not my own) is 9364H and they have a pretty light weight robot that goes under the goal and they run 600 rpm direct drive. they still can go over barrier. Do you own tests!

4082B actually caught air while going over the barrier. They run 600 3.25 and it looks like they grow wings and fly away when they go over the barrier
