who drew the short straw and has to pump it up? Without an air compressor that might take a little while.

My guess would be Pneumatic drive.

Yes, but once you’ve bought all the pneumatic tanks you won’t have any money left for a Cortex. Or metal. Or wheels.

I think that these teasers are… a load of hot air.

Although, it’s interesting to see you guys go to the extremes with Vex (even though your hand of god didn’t compete). Certainly more interesting than the standard scoring bots. Can’t wait to see what comes out of this…

I understand why people may be skeptical. But I’m pretty sure we have things sorted out this year. Continue if you wish, but prepare for your mind to be blown come reveal time.

But if he used cold air then you have more air with a lower PSI.

If you used hot air you wouldn’t have as much air at that same PSI level.

I have some questions
With this many tanks, how many pistons are you planning on having?
Single or Double acting?
Will this robot have a drive train? or is this the base?
When is the reveal? :smiley:

I wonder if that much power could make a robot jump. Really though, that has enough power to seriously hurt someone if you’re not careful. If I were working on it, I’d be a little wary of it.

Yeahhh we’ll have drive trains this year I guess its the cool thing to do. :wink:

We plan on having 8-10 pistons (at least) all double acting.

Reveal is at worlds next year.
