Congratulations to those of you who have qualified out of more than 12,000 teams for 2015 VEX Worlds. This newsletter contains all the information you need to make your final preparations. We can’t wait to see you next week in Louisville, Kentucky!

VEX Worlds Team Profile & Survey at RobotEvents.com
Teams must complete their team profile and a brief survey at RobotEvents.com, which will provide the judges with important information for awards consideration. To complete your profile and this survey, please: (1) Log into RobotEvents.com (2) Click on “My Account” (3) Look under “Registered Events” for the team(s) registered for World Championship event(s) (4) Click on “TEAM INFO NEEDED!” (5) Answer the questions listed and please click “SAVE” at the bottom survey. Please complete this survey as soon as possible. NOTE: Project Lead The Way (PLTW) teams, please don’t forget to update your profile to ensure that your team is included in any special PLTW events and activities to be held during the VEX Worlds. Thank you!

VEX Worlds Will Be VEXnet 2.0 Only Event!
VEX Robotics will provide two VEXnet 2.0 keys in each of the team bags at the VEX Robotics World Championship. Therefore, teams will have at least one pair of VEXnet 2.0 keys for the event. If you have any questions about this aspect of the competition, please contact [email protected].

Program Book, Venue Map, Division Schedules & More!
The 2015 VEX Worlds promises to be an exceptional event with the new location at the Kentucky Expo Center offering a much larger space, two arenas, and plenty of exciting attractions and activities. The REC Foundation encourages teams to review the VEX Worlds Program Book, your official guide to the event and the Louisville area and also the new VEX Worlds event map. The 2015 VEX Robotics World Championship site is full of information about special rates on rental cars, airport transfers, and pre-ordering food, Louisville and the surrounding area. Finally, the event pages now include Division lists for VRC Middle School and High School and have information about Live Stream Webcasts for those who may not join your team in Louisville, but want to follow all the action from home: VEX IQ Challenge Elementary, VEX IQ Challenge Middle School, VEX Robotics Competition Middle School, VEX Robotics Competition High School, and VEX U.

VEX Worlds Team Party!
On Saturday night, April 18, following the conclusion of VEX Worlds, the REC Foundation will host a team party at Kentucky Kingdom, a stunning amusement park located just steps from the Kentucky Expo Center. Tickets may be purchased through April 12, 2015, by visiting: VEX Worlds Team Party. Tickets will be available for pick-up at the Registration Desk.

University of Louisville Offers Campus Tours During VEX Worlds!
The REC Foundation is pleased to welcome the University of Louisville as a new scholarship partner and sponsor of the 2015 VEX Robotics World Championship. The University of Louisville Speed School of Engineering is pleased to offer specialized campus tours during the event and interested teams should register today for a tour!
