Are ‘direct drive’ gear cartridges still legal? I recall some teams had them during Spin Up and I was wondering if they are still legal. I am planning on doing a 2000 rpm flex wheel/paddle chain hybrid to be able to suck up the rings very quickly and get them on the mogos very early in the match.

Ok thanks. Guess I’ll have to use high strength gears and lithium grease.
