I’ve ben working on custom license plates, and a team mate suggested that we make on set of plates (2) and make each plate red on one side and blue on the other, Is this legal? i don’t see anywhere in the manual that declares it as legal or illegal, and I would like some clarification before I continue.
It should be legal unless you can see the reverse side. Probably have a cover on the other side because if you can see the wrong color, it is an < R8 > violation.
I think as long as the other side is hidden enough to avoid confusion. At least that’s what one of our other teams did last year, correct me if I’m wrong

As long as you discretely cover the other side, such that no other color is showing, then yes.
Mount a red plate with the back blacked out with a sharpie. Use iq pins to mount a blue plate on the front of it. Install/remove as needed.
