Hey all, high school VEX VRC team here.
We are working on a clamp design to grab the elevation pole and elevate the bot at the end of the game. At this current point, our design requires active motor power or the clamp will slip and the bot will fall. We are getting mixed information about whether motor power is cut (i.e., the competition controller ends the program) at the end of the match. We need to know this as our bot needs to be able to stay elevated after the end of the match, as that is when scoring is calculated.
Our question is:
After the driver-control period ends, does the program end/exit and will motor power be subsequently cut?
