<R15> is the exhaustive list of prohibited modifications. Cutting axles is not on this list, and is therefore allowed.

You can cut like basically any vex part… or drill or bend… as long as you don’t melt it…

You can’t cut motors or wires… first off it breaks, second off it’s stupid.

You should definitely cut your axles to custom lengths. It means that you don’t have annoying bits that stick out, or axles that are not quite the right length.
Our team likes to modify almost every single part we get!

Just remember to file the ends… no sharp edges when you come to the inspection tables, please.
