well, Friday throuigh sunday i’ll be at the Javits Center in NYC for my FRC event and i can’t wait:D:D:D
Even though we are done for the season other than scrimmages I’m still excited to go to scrimmages. Is it true you can enter 2 regionals?
I assume so, there’s a team that’s won two from Canada.
In that case were are the upcoming events? I live in Virginia are there any upcoming events around here?
You can enter an unlimited amount of regionals, only the first two will qualify you for judged awards or entrance into the World Championship.
The team thats from canada flame 3652, I think they’ve now one three. They had already won one when they were at the Flint Mi, regional and we won that with them and then I heard they won a Penn. Regional last weekend. If thats true it’s a shame since they have taken two spots from other teams…
I’ve heard that FIRST does a lotto for the spots that go unfilled, but I don’t know how true that is.
I think that just entering as many tournaments as you can is pointless. If you win great you go on. If you lose try again. My team lost we’re going to try again (I hope).
Enetering as many as you can is good that way you get practice. But if you win or are eligable to go to atlanta don’t allow yourself to be chosen for the finals at a second tournament. Give other teams a chance to compete.
well, this year we decided to go out an do two regionals, hopefully we will do even better at our second:)

i don’t know it it is an FVC tourney that is comming up tomorrow in CT, or if it is just a robotics convention. Does anyone know about that, and is anyone going to it?
