We were having problems with our motors on our arm overheating. They were lifting, but only once or twice, to solve that problem, we added a power expander. We have the cortex wired for left side motors in ports 1-5 and right side motors in ports 6-10. The expander is wired to ports 1-5. We have adjusted our motor speed to 127 and our gear ratio is 1:7. Our arm will not lift…HELP.

We recommend changing your Power Expander to ports 4-7.
Then spread your lift/ arm motor configuration, for example if you have four motors on your lifting mechanism a good configuration would be:
Lift motor#1, port 1
Lift motor#2, port 4 (power expander)
Lift motor#3, port 6 (power expander)
Lift motor# 4, port 10
