Did the settings for attached images change?
I was uploading two images as attachments today and noticed that resultant image quality in the post was not good (images were soft). I tried various formats but everything is being significantly down sampled. I see for images that max file size is 500K (good) but image size is now limited to 620 x 280, was it always this way? Seems a strange aspect ratio for images, I would have expected something like 640x480 (4:3) or 640x360 (16:9). I’ve attached many pictures in the past and don’t remember having these problems. For today’s post I gave up and used external links, however, I would prefer to be using attachments.
