2015 VEX Robotics World Championship Date/Location Change
The Robotics Education & Competition Foundation and VEX Robotics are gearing up for another action-packed season of highly skilled robotics competitions and we have some updates pertaining to the 2015 VEX Robotics World Championship. This year’s event will take place April 15–18, 2015 in a special new location, to be unveiled at the end of the summer. The Anaheim Convention Center has been a great partner over the past three years, but the overall growth of the VEX Robotics community calls for a new location beginning in 2015. The VEX Robotics World Championship, presented by the REC Foundation and the Northrop Grumman Foundation, celebrates the accomplishments of students and teams from around the world who compete year-round in the VEX IQ Challenge, VEX Robotics Competition, and VEX U. In 2014, the VEX Robotics World Championship hosted 760 robotics teams from 27 countries.
