Autonomous Code Vex V5 Example (Why will it not work?)

I have absolutely no idea how to make this code work. It has all the explanations and everything, but I still cannot figure out what to do when it says, “Print X: on the Brain.”

What am I supposed to edit on the code? In the first image I inputted -900 for the driveToPositionX and driveToPositionY, but when I run the program, it just spins my robot in circles?

I only added the GPS device because I can’t figure out what the other VEX devices even look like. I only need the GPS to make the robot figure out where it is on the arena, right?
