You’re posting in VEX IQ, so I assume you mean during the programming skills challenge. Please review rule RSC5 in appendix B of the game manual for the rules about handling your robot during a skills match: VIQRC Full Volume Game Manual - VEX Robotics

In our competitions where I’ve run an auton skills match, I have a code that just goes forward, turns, and then stops. After that, I’ll turn off the program, pick it up, put it in another valid starting position, and then run the same program. I’ve seen other teams on YouTube change to different programs in just one skills match, although I’m not so sure this is legal. Like @kmmohn said, check the manual for the rules pertaining to this (I should too actually, it’s due for a routine check

According to the rules you can actually move the robot as many times as you want as long as the cubes inside or controlled by the robot are taken out and it is in a valid starting position. Here is a picture:
Between the two goals and not touching the red is a perfect starting position.
