Hey guys. Our team today was prototyping a way to connect an axle parallel to the motion of the piston rather than connected to the two holes. We attempted using a screw through a shaft collar connected to the axel that was but it wasn’t very reliable. Have any of you guys ever found a working solution to this problem?
Try using a pillow block bearing. You can have the central hole of the bearing on the axle with collars on either side, and then screw one of the other holes on the bearing through the piston’s two holes (with appropriate spacing).
