Battery Indicator

My robot has a Rocket League vibe, and I was reading the rule book. Is a battery remaining indicator allowed to be displayed on the coretex? image

Yes it is. Why wouldn’t you be allowed to do that?

also, very nice theme. How does it determine when to put those messages?

There is a rule in the book that says that decorations cannot give either the robot or the driver(s) any visual aids or show status (or something to that effect) I don’t think it matters if the power level is shown on the coretex because it’s already on the controller. You can’t even see it on blue, and I also made another program to make it orange.

I used a forever loop to generate two circles in the corner right up against each other. I set the power level to update every 0.15 seconds, since that seems to make it flicker the least. The text that emulates the chat/console is on a forever loop with wait commands between each line of text. I’ll try to post a GIF in a minute.

The key words here are decorations. The brain isn’t a decoration so you can print anything you want on it including motor temps, sensor values, and whatever else you want.
