Hi
We’ve had two batteries this year just randomly die on us , One was very old , one was relativly new ordered at the beginning of august.
Could anyone help explain to me why?

This can happen. It happens to our old batteries.
Idk why this happened. It could be a bad battery. How much did you end up using the battery?

The battery was being used only at our school for testing purposes , we plugged it in one night and came back to it not turning on at all.
It could have just been a bad battery. The same thing happened to us. I say this a lot, but @kmmohn is right. Going to the vex support site will help a lot.
