I know razor bill has an insane claw but i fell there is a really good claw design out there that we have not found yet.
I feel that way too. We’ve been trying to find a better claw than Razorbill, but we haven’t found it yet. I think that for the most part the best claw and driving will win worlds, so this is a very important aspect of a robot this year. Let us know if you find one.
yeah totally, i have been using sandstorms claw for a while now, it seems to not need much alignment. I also at the start used a pair of i think 70 degree and 40 degree angle bars pinned together on a flat back, it worked really well but i swapped it in favor of the faster stacking time of the sandstorm claw.
It’s good, I agree, but I think that’s about as good as it gets for a passive claw (I could be wrong), so I would suggest trying options with a motorized claw (like Razorbill). Good luck!
Yes, i think we have maxed out the potential for passive claws, motorized claws will win this years comp, i just dont want to rebuild yet.
