My team is brainstorming the best Pneumatic claws, and ideas?
Did your brainstorming including searching in the forums for locking claws? How about a Google search, did you try that?

We have researched for a long time on Semicolon’s claw, and we are thinking about that, but we were wondering if you guys were more big brain and had a better idea.
Semicolon has a really good claw. Any over-center locking claw would work, you just need to make sure you can properly hold it. Having a wider claw will allow the goal to be more secure, but any of them work.

This is the best explanation of how an over center lock works Over-center Linkages - YouTube. As someone who has designed an over center locking claw from scratch, the hardest part is tweaking the geometry of the claw to get the locking period as small as possible.
