I’m doing a competition where one of the objectives is you have to be able to go up a ramp (Idk the angles). I would like to use Omni wheels but I’m worried the motors won’t get enough friction to get itself up the ramp which could result in it either sliding back down or tipping over.

Omni wheels have very good grip so you should be fine

Actually, the legs are good up to about a 60 degree ramp before they start slipping. We did a measurement one year with a 18" limit, 4 motors and legs, how far can you climb? The pads on the end are pretty sticky. Extra rubber bands will also help.
They are also good for small stair stacks.
