Well if your looking for a challenge you could try competing and get into FVC
This is probably the most involving and funnest thing to do, not to say little challenges aren’t.

If you want some ideas, they might need things you don’t have, try: “Designs Needed”.
Have made steering linkage that works well. I got the idea from my old RC car instructions and just started substituting & customising vex parts.
