There is nothing in the Game Manual (https://viqrc-kb.recf.org/hc/en-us/categories/23291491021463-2024-2025-Rapid-Relay-Game-Manual) about a “bonus ball”. You might want to take a look at rule RSC4 in the game manual about loading differences during the skills challenge, or maybe RSC8 about handling the robot during an autonomous coding skills match; perhaps that will answer your question.

I am not an IQ or Rapid Relay specialist, but I have never heard of a “bonus ball” nor have I found anything about one in the game manual or in my research.
Please specify what you may think of as a bonus ball and what misunderstanding you have about it so the forum may help your case.
