Bound Engineering Notebook

Can you reconsider the rule about requiring the Engineering Notebook to be bound? It’s very inconvenient when the kids have to take turns, one at a time, recording their ideas rather than working on design documentation all at once. It leads to much more chaotic meetings and is really hard on the coaches. I also don’t understand why the rule was added - what were you trying to prevent by requiring the notebook to be bound? Whatever it is, the consequence of being able to only keep one kid busy at a time is probably worse than whatever problem the rule is trying to prevent.

Also, someone had asked about putting the bound notebook inside of a 3-ring binder and nobody every answered. I would like to know what has to be in the bound section and what you would allow in a 3-ring binder. Thanks very much!
