Not sure what happened we were deivijg at a match and the brain go black. then we get this mirrored issue.
we tried to reset all settings on the brain and update the firmware but with no luck

we decided to try this first if nothing we will ask vex support
It’s most likely a hardware fault, I don’t think we have any way to that in firmware. I doubt vex support would have ever seen this before. How old is the V5 brain ?

I’m curious what you get back if you try to take a screen capture of this brain’s video output (you can do this using the VEXcode extension or pros-cli). If that’s unmirrored, then it almost certainly means the display controller hardware or cable has gone faulty.

let me make the (quite possibly silly) suggestion that, well, that the hardware testing team contact the team with this brain, and arrange to send it back to where the products are tested (so you can see what kind of fault caused this)
p.s. the reasoning behind this suggestion is my curiosity, in goodwill
