Broken Motor

On my team, one of the motors is broken in the way that it goes one way but does not go the other way. We can’t change the motor and we just want it to go up. How do we change the arm code so that out of everything it just goes up?

Try changing out the motor controller, it worked for my team.

Changing the motor controller would probably solve the issue (unless you’re using port 1 or 10).

To make the motor only go up, though, just flip the 2-wire connection coming out of the motor.

I don’t know about coding but if that motor is plugged into either port 1 or 10 then you might have burnt the H-bridge in the cortex. That would make it turn only one way.
