it seems to be that 10 or more of my smart ports are broken and i have olny used 2 of them
If your brain is new you can contact vex directly and if it falls under warranty get a new one
It may be a wire issue. Triple check your wires. My team had the same issue and we told our instructor. He told us to try new wires and it worked. But also as @Deicer said try contacting VEX.
