Watching numerous Pits & Parts videos from top teams gave my team and me a good grasp of how the world stage would be.
Anyways, while watching I noticed that the term pancake pistons" came up from some of these top teams. How do they work exactly?

Outside of vex and minecraft, “pistons” are really called “air cylinders”
VEX-U teams can use any commercial pneumatics, including pancake air cylinders, which are short-stroke-large-bore air cylinders.
