bumper switch

I have some older bumper switches that seem to have the red wire broken or disconnected. We have taken them apart and compared them to new ones and the circuit board does not appear that the red leg was ever soldered to the board on the old ones?

The red wire is 5 volts (power from the cortex), the bumper switch does not use this.

Thanks, so the newer bumper switches just added a dead solder point on the circuit board to get rid of the cut end on the red line apparantly.
