CAD Programs

Hi all,

I’m new to the forum and using CAD for robot design. I’ve used CAD before for school classes and architecture like work. Im just wondering what programs there are to use and which one is the simplest to use. Any help you can give me would be great!

Thanks!

I prefer autodesk inventor, but I think other people also use solidworks.

Yes, I do agree with Jarred!! Autodesk is the best for robot design and very easy to use. I must say user friendly also. otherwise you can use solidworks, CATIA etc.

I still use good old photoshop for websites, if you explore it well there’s a lot to discover in it

You’ve got a malformed link there

This post is also from a few years ago. The forum would request that we try not to revive older threads.

I use Onshape.com the advantage of this is that it is all cloud based so you can cad on any computer without downloading anything
