CAD Question/Problem with Pillow Block Bearing in CAD

Hi y’all, I do CAD and to be honest, I do not like using pillow block bearings in CAD (specifically in Autodesk Inventor 2020). Every time I try to use the pillow block bearing (using the insert feature), the axle or whatever would end up at an angle. Is there any way to fix this beside just angling the bearing? Below is an image of the problem.

ah man that’s annoying, I’ve never noticed that before. you could edit the actual part, and carve out a straight hole with the extrude tool. If the hole being crooked is the problem.

Hi! I’ve also had this problem before - so hopefully this helps. This is using the “Constrain” function in the top banner. Then select the central axis of both the pillow block bearing and the shaft:

Once you’ve done that the shaft should now sit in the right position.

The hole was crooked but when I tried to make a new hole, Inventor wouldn’t recognize it as a feature I could insert. Thank you though!!
