Actually, reading the rules again, there doesn’t seem to be anything preventing a robot from knocking a cone from an opposing robot’s grasp before it is stacked

I’d like to be wrong about the knocking a mobile goal from the grasp of a robot part. The hoarding part I can see as part of the game.
Yeah, as long as they don’t grab or attach to the cone itself, it’s fine to possess and move them around. It’s interesting that you can knock cones out of someone’s grab, though…
That’d make an interesting mini-game.
