Can a drive team member sit out for one match

Can a drive team member sit out a match (whether a qualification match or an elimination match)? So if a team has a Drivers Team with 3 members, can one member sit out (take a break) if he/she is tired from competing all day or has a sudden migraine attack?

For sure! One teams only have one drive team member… People resource management is important.

Thanks for the reply. Is it also legal if you have a person from your team fill in for the person who is sitting out? So that way you can still maintain a team of 3?

Glad to help!

You can have 1,000,000 members on your team (not advised!) and they can jump in to be one of the Drive Team members at any time during the event. The one restriction is there can only be 3 Drive Team members from the team in the Alliance Station.

I would carefully read G4 of the Game Manual, definitions of roles, etc. You will note that you can have multiple roles on a team.
