My students are mostly gen 1 but I have a couple of groups who are using gen 2 controllers with gen 1 brains and one of them needs to calibrate because their basebot is moving when they aren’t asking it to. But when I go to calibrate it says the controller needs to be tethered which the gen 2 controller can’t do. I can’t
You will need to use a Generation 2 IQ brain to calibrate a Generation 2 controller. Once calibrated, you can then just pair with the Gen 1 brain again as calibration is stored inside the controller.

I’d say this is not possible, my team tried something like this last year.
