i am moving to a ftc team in my town bc my school cant afford to do frc anymore and i have found parts for ftc in a nearby town that was to old to do ftc anymore and doesnt have time to start a team for younger people

I don’t know how much help we will be. VRC uses a completely different control system, metal, motors and plays a different game.

You will get answers on general engineering, but specific FTC will be pretty low. There are a handful of people here that still have FTC contacts / do FTC.

You might want to check out https://www.chiefdelphi.com/ there are FTC teams there that ask questions.
