So I’m captain of the VEXU team VISTA. Atm we are called Vista Ballista Robotics… but that’s kind of dumb. We want to change it to Windows Vista because… tech related, outdated like our builds and its just a really good name. i tried contacting Microsoft but the reps in India where none to helpful and pushed me to the careers page before closing the chat.
I don’t think anyone will care. That said… having a name that invites ridicule might not be a good choice.
FYI vista’s main problem was that it was a pretty good o/s… but had hardware requirements that very few computers could meet. If you threw enough hardware at it… it ran quite well.
