Hello there! I’m generally new to Vex metal robots and was wondering if someone could explain how to calculate gear ratios. Just a general overview is fine. Thank you!

Motor speed * (driving gear / driven gear) = RPM
For example, lets say I have a 600 RPM motor on a 36 tooth gear driving a 60 tooth gear. What RPM is that outputting?
Motor speed = 600
Driving gear = 36
Driven gear = 60
600 * 36/60 = 360 RPM
