I’m new to the VEX IQ World Championship and I’m wondering if it’s allowed for teams to have sponsors. Specifically, I’m thinking about having family and friends’ businesses as sponsors. Would it be okay to display their logos on our team shirts, pit backdrop, or even as stickers on the robot? Is this a common practice among teams? I’d appreciate any insights or guidance on this matter
Yes, yes, yes!! Just remember that logos become functional decorations and you need to follow the rules about that.

Yes, this is actually pretty common, especially among teams at worlds because of the costs of registration, plane tickets, hotels, etc. You can include it on your shirts, robot, or team souvenir if you want.
