Can we add a topic categorizer/filter for unanswered?

Hello. I was thinking that there’s a lot of clutter in the vex forums, and probably a lot of unanswered topics go lost forever. I think it might be a cool idea to be able to filter questions based on how many answers it has. So if I wanted to see if anybody needs help, I could just say to give me questions with 0-2 answers, and then boom. If this already exists, tell me

I usually just look for topics that have either none or only a few posts. As these are usually the ones without answers.

Another thing you could try looking at is the New Tab as that would have new unanswered questions.

But it would be handy if there was a faster way to view recent topics that haven’t got answers (as sorting the topics by lowest replies gives outdated results from years ago)

Lucky you! If you click the search icon (image) and hit Enter without typing anything in, it takes you to an empty search results page with a filter bar on the right. The filters you would want are

  2. image

  3. image

It adds it to your search bar, like this:

And you click Search even though you didn’t search any words, and it comes up with this:

Seems a little convoluted. Filters are ignored sometimes, so it’s hard to find I guess. Maybe there should just be a button for it?

It’s not that hard. I bet in the Sort by you can even do recent topics first. You only need to filter for unsolved and then sort for newest first. I guess they could put a button on the main topics page but it’s not that much harder to search and filter for unsolved.
