Can we carry mobile goals by the rings?

If our robot were to grab a ring on a mobile goal and move the goal around that way would this be legal?

Remember. If something is not outlawed in the game manual, it is legal. I would recommend you spend some time reading the game manual before making more posts asking for answers.

Does anything in the manual prohibit you from possessing a mobile goal by grabbing a ring? Does the manual require you to possess the mobile goal in a specific way?

If the manual does not prohibit or require an action, it is generally allowed.

You would be in possession of the goal.

From a quick view of the game manual, there does not seem to be any specific way that you have to carry a mobile goal, so I would say yes, but remember: before asking a question about the rules, always check the game manual. Also remember that rules are always subject to change.

The Game Manual does not tell you how to play the game, just what you are prohibited from doing. I would re-read the manual and check if there are rules prohibiting what you propose.

I did not find it in the manual and that is why I was asking here.

Side note, since you didn’t find it addressed it is legal. The general rule is if it isn’t covered and by common sense it isn’t illegal/wrong it is legal. For example, flying drones isn’t covered but you couldn’t make a useful flying robot anyways so that’s why it isn’t covered. However, something like how to score/move a ring (similar to how to pick up a mobile goal) doesn’t need to be covered because that is up to you. Of course possession limits are there for balance, but they don’t need to say how you can interact with game elements.
